MOVIE CLIPS
Several Home Army's film crews were documenting the fighting as well as everyday life during the 63 days of the Warsaw Uprising. Originally, the footage was assembled into three separate newsreels and shown in the 'Palladium' movie theatre to both insurgents and civilians.

Significant part of the films survived the war but become dispersed. The Polish documentary film studio, WFDF, restored and reassembled the portions of the original newsreels. Some of the Warsaw Uprising archival footage came from German Die Deutsche Wochenschau newsreels and 1944 Soviet documentary On the Outskirts of Warsaw.
